SULLIVAN CITY - An F-B-I Spokesperson confirms at least one person is dead after a possible gunbattle on the U-S Mexico Border. Thursday Night Border Patrol told us their agents found a group of five people around five Thursday afternoon. The F-B-I says one man is dead and another was taken to the hospital. We're told that person is now in stable condition. The other three were taken into custody.

Border Patrol and D-P-S searched the area of Havana between Sullivan City and La Joya Thursday night for several hours. We aren't sure yet why it happened but residential recall hearing several gunshots earlier Friday. Right now the FBI says they're continuing to look into the incident. But when asked if it was possibly spillover from the ongoing violence in Mexico they told us it's not their place to classify the situation they're just investigating.
