A warning for boaters to stay on the U.S. side of Falcon Lake as drug cartel activity remains high in the area.

The Department of Public Safety says Falcon Lake has been the scene of many robberies and the murder of David Hartley by Mexican drug cartel members. Officials are suggesting that boaters stay clear from the Mexican side of the lake.
