DALLAS - The prehistoric fish fossil is more than 100 million years old. It's discovery was not on purpose. Maggie and Dad Paul were roasting marshmallows at home when they took a walk near their creek. And this is the part of the fossil that was found first. They brought the fossil to a lab at UNT for experts to look at and identify. A pleasant surprise for everyone especially for this dad and daughter who simply went for a walk.
