The two Democratic candidates seeking to become the next Texas Governor squared off in a debate on Monday evening.

Rookie candidate Farouk Shami and former Houston Mayor Bill White debated in Fort Worth. The Democratic Primary has taken a back seat this year because of the high profiled Republican race.
