Deadly Storms Hit Southeast
At least two people are dead after overnight tornadoes in Alabama.
Powerful storms swept across four southern states overnight, spawning tornados that killed at least two and injured more than a hundred others.
Residents in Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama all raced for cover as the storm system destroyed homes, downed trees and left behind a path of destruction.
Sandra and Levern Green of Dallas County, Arkansas had just seconds to take shelter in their bathroom.
"It was over in about five minutes, and we could feel wind blowing on us and we looked and the bathroom ceiling was all mashed in with a limb in it," Sandra said afterward.
Despite the devastation residents remain strong.
"We're tough down here," said Tony Hanes. "We'll recover...everybody will pitch in and we'll be back on top."
