Dallas shooting leaves 4 dead and 4 wounded
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Four people were killed and four more were wounded after an overnight shooting rampage that started in Dallas.
Police say Erbie Bowser went to his ex-girlfriend’s home in southwest Dallas and started shooting.
When Bowser realized she wasn’t there, he stopped.
He then headed to another home in Desoto, about 16 miles away, where he found her.
It was there, police say, he used some kind of explosive device and then opened fire on everyone inside the home.
Police arrested Bowser when he ran out of ammunition.
“We have an adult female that was deceased, we have an adult daughter of that individual—she was deceased. We have a 14 year old son too,” Dallas Police Department Major Jeff Cotner said.
“That victim was shot and he was transported to the hospital. And we have a family friend that’s 17 and she was also shot and she was transported to the hospital.”
Police have not said whether Bowser actually shot his ex-girlfriend.
The ATF is now investigating the kind of explosive device Bowser used.
