Customs Seizes Cocaine and Meth at Port of Entry

Two women are in police custody after Customs and Border Patrol agents found pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine strapped to their bodies.

Officers seized over nine pounds of cocaine and over seventeen pounds of meth at the Hidalgo International bridge on Wednesday. Police say two middle aged women driving a Ford Explorer tried to smuggle the drugs into the U.S. and are in custody of the Immigration and Customs enforcement.
