Custom officers at the Hidalgo International bridge seized over $2 million dollars worth of heroin this past weekend.

A man from Eagle Pass was arrested on Friday after he attempted to cross a port of entry with almost 28 pounds of heroin. Custom officers found 20 packages of heroin in the tire well of a 2010 Nissan Altima and the driver is in ICE custody.
