A woman, wanted on credit card abuse, is arrested after being wanted by police for over a month.

An investigation of theft was opened on March 31, to the 1500 block of North 25th Street, by the victim who stated that a female he knew, Samantha Lee Torres, 24, has stolen his wallet.

The value of the contents, within the wallet, was valued at $55, but the victim stated that over $1,700 was charged on a credit card.

A warrant was then placed on Torres and on Saturday, April 20, she was pulled over by a Texas State Trooper on a traffic violation.

Torres was then arrested by the Trooper and turned over to Harlingen police and charged with credit card abuse and her bond was set at $5,000.
