Two charged with impersonating a public servant

Two men have been arrested on impersonating a public servant charges by Brownsville police.

Police say Jeremy Garcia, 18, and Raoul Garcia, 22, are accused of pulling up behind a man and his family, in a blue Chevy Impala in the Sunrise Mall parking lot, and following him then activating red and blue flashing lights displayed on the vehicle's dashboard.

When the man pulled over, the two men allegedly pulled up beside him and pointed a handgun and then drove off.  Officers located the Impala in the HEB parking lot located on Paredes Line Road and also found a black pellet gun inside.

The driver admitted to officers of using the pellet gun and turning on the lights at the victim and the passenger was also charged with possession of hydroxyzine, bond is pending.
