Suspect wanted for aggravated assault and evading arrest

A suspect is wanted by San Juan police for pointing a gun at employees of a local hotel and evading arrest.

Police were called on Sunday, April 21, to the San Juan Hotel located at 112 W. Expressway 83 in reference to a man pointing a gun at employees after he was refused services.

Officers in route to the location spotted a white 2006 Mercedes Benz driven by, Noe Lopez, 34, leaving the hotel and heading westbound on the Frontage Road.

Police activated their emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to catch up to Lopez, but were unable too.

Lopez is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of evading arrest with a vehicle.
