Police arrest trio with marijuana in parking lot of Stripes store

Harlingen police arrested three individuals after they were spotted with marijuana in a Stripes parking lot.

In the late evening hours of  Tuesday, July 23rd police responded to a call, from HIDTA officers, at a Stripes store at 1826 W. Tyler in reference to detaining three individuals in possession of marijuana.

The HIDTA officers stated they detained Clarissa Guetzow, 19, Nario Moreno, 19, and Ivan Padilla, 17, after observing them passing marijuana to each other, while in a vehicle in the store's parking lot.

All three were arrested and during the booking of Guetzow, at the city jail, officers found a prescription pill and a small amount of  marijuana concealed in an empty lipstick container.

All three were charged with possession of marijuana, additionally Guetzow was charged with Possession of controlled substance,  Moreno and Padilla with possession of drug paraphernalia.

This is news are you kidding me with so much going on in your jacked up city you report some young kids smoking some pot .... wow must be a slow day in journalism , why dont you go report on why marijuana is illegal i the first place, and you will find that the reasons are quite shocking .. now go do some real reporting you guys are almost as bad as news 4 ..
