Police arrest suspect in graffiti painting of Weslaco water tower

Weslaco police arrested a man believed to be involved in the spray painting graffiti to the city's water tower.

During the nighttime hours of Tuesday, April 1st, a man climbed over the security fence of the downtown water tower and spray painted graffiti onto the city's landmark.

The police department investigators were able to identify a suspect and arrested Julio Cesar Sifuentes Jr., 30, and charged him with graffiti and set his bail at $1,500.

The graffiti was removed from the water tower at a cost of over $4,000.
