Mercedes man arrested for possession of stolen property
HARLINGEN, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — A call of an unattended dog inside a vehicle results with a man being arrested for having stolen property.
On Saturday, July 12th, Harlingen officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of West Expressway 83 in regards to a dog left unattended in a vehicle.
Officers were able to locate the owner of the vehicle, identified as Arnoldo Favela, 33, from Mercedes and during their investigation found Favela in possession of several items of stolen property and social security cards belonging to other individuals.
Favela was arrested, charged with theft, fraud possession of ID info and handed a $35,000 bond.
