Men plead guilty for cocaine distribution from Valley to Georgia
McAllen, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Two Poteet men have been sentenced to federal prison for their involvement to distribute cocaine.
Jonathan Pena, 28, and Victor Reyes Campos, 34, of Mexico City, entered guilty pleas on April 2nd and Sept. 17th for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute multi-kilogram amounts of cocaine.
U.S. District Judge Randy Crane handed Pena a 10 year sentence and Reyes a 17 and half year to prison.
Both men were convicted for their involvement in drug trafficking, money laundering and transporting cocaine from the Valley to the state of Georgia from December 2008 to January 2010.
