McAllen police arrest three suspects and one wanted suspect

On January 30, 2013 warrants of arrest for Ernest Galvan were issued out McAllen Municipal Court for Theft by Appropriation a Third Degree Felony and Theft by Appropriation a State Jail Felony. McAllen Police Officers are searching for Ernest Galvan.

Ernest Galvan is described as a Hispanic male, 5’ 4” in height, approximately 130 pounds in weight, brown hair, and brown eyes. If you know the whereabouts of Ernest Galvan or have information about this crime, you are urged to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956-687-TIPS (956-687-8477). You may be eligible for a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest and/or conviction.

On January 30, 2013 Carlos Salazar 20 years of age a resident of McAllen was arraigned in McAllen Municipal Court on the charges of Theft by Appropriation a Third Degree Felony and Arson a Second Degree Felony. The bonds were set at $40,000.00 dollars and $60,000.00 dollars respectively.

On January 30, 2013 Marcelo Smith 17 years of age a resident of McAllen was arraigned in McAllen Municipal Court on the charges of Theft by Appropriation a Class “A” Misdemeanor and Possession of Control Substance (diazepam) a “A” Misdemeanor. The bonds were set at $8,000.00 dollars and $3,000.00 dollars respectively. He was in possession of parts from the stolen vehicles.

On January 31, 2013 Juan Carlos Esparza 23 years of age a resident of McAllen was arraigned in McAllen Municipal Court on the charges of Theft by Appropriation a Third Degree Felony. The bond was set at $50,000.00 dollars.

On January 28, 2013 the theft of seven white Ford passenger vehicles stolen from a car lot at 5800 S 10th Street are reported to McAllen Police Officers. All seven vehicles were recovered and two of vehicles were burned. Police Officers arrested three subjects and are searching for a fourth.
