Police arrested a female at the Valley International Airport, in Harlingen, for possession of marijuana.

On Tuesday, March 26, officer with the Harlingen Police Special Investigation conducted a field interview with Princess Porchell Wimberly.

Wimberly did give officers consent to search her luggage, after a K-9 alert, and they discovered three bundles of marijuana totaling over 51 pounds. Officers report that a strong perfume scent is what triggered the field interview because it is a known tactic used by couriers attempting to mask the scent of drugs.

Wimberly was arrested and charged with a second degree felony for possession of marijuana and her bail was set at $75,000.
