Custom officers arrest man wanted on charges of sexual assault of a child
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — A Galveston man is arrested by CBP officers after its discovered that he is wanted in a aggravated sexual assault case.
On Monday, July 8 Custom and Border Protection officers came into contact with a male pedestrian, later identified as Martin Noe Muzquiz, 46, at the B&M bridge.
A primary check revealed that Muzquiz had a possible active arrest warrant for a probation violation from an aggravated sexual assault of a child in Galveston County.
Officers did confirm that Muzquiz did have an arrest warrant and turned him over to the Cameron County Sheriff's Department to be extradited to Galveston, Texas.
