Couple's Child Abuse Trial Delayed

Tuesday, December 7, 2010 - 9:41am
The trial for a couple accused of keeping their daughter in a closet has been delayed once again.
Jury selection, intended for Monday, has been rescheduled for next week. Leticia and Alfredo Ines are accused of keeping their daughter locked in a bedroom closet. Authorities say the child was forced to use the bathroom in a bucket and could only come out to go to school. The mother told police she didn't want her daughter stealing food out of the refrigerator.
