"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride," said Cameron County Judge Linda Salazar.

And with that, Enrique and Nancy Mayorga got remarried in front of close family and friends - most of whom never got a chance to see their first wedding 18 years ago.

This is the second time Enrique and Nancy Mayorga are getting married, but for their second matrimonial ceremony, they chose Valentine's Day for a very specific reason.

"So I wouldn't forget it," said the groom, Enrique Mayorga.

But Enrique and Nancy won't be the only ones who won't forget the ceremony, relatives who weren't there the first time now get to make up for lost time:

"My brother in-law was in the military, and at that time we were stationed in Arizona and we were not part of the first ceremony, so that's why this is nice, because we got to experience the second ceremony," said relative Letty Hernandez.

"it was nice to have my family - our family here, and you know just to have this, and see our kids see us get remarried because when we got married the first time, they weren't even born, so now they get to see us get remarried again," said the bride, Nancy Mayorga.

Enrique and Nancy's children acted as ring bearers so their parents could exchange their vows...and they too say the sentimental Valentine's Day will be one they'll always remember.

"it was a little surprising because my mom started crying," said the couple's son, Enrique Mayorga Jr.

"it was amazing, my mom started crying, and I wanted to cry to because it's my first time seeing her get married because I wasn't born when she first got married, so it was amazing," said the couple's daughter, Selena Mayorga.
