A hundred people turned out for this forum on emergency services in Brownsville today. The county explained how reverse 911 works.

"The reverse 911 system is a system in which during an emergency instead of you calling us we call you. If the judge orders a mandatory evacuation we could landline. If you already have a landline have a landline you don't need to register that is automatically that is automatically in the 911 system."
