Final preparations are underway ahead of Super Bowl XLV.

After a frantic and unusually frigid week, this morning starts what will be a super weekend in north Texas.

Super exciting for fans at the NFL experience, super expensive for those still looking for a ticket to the game.

The going rate is more than $2,500.

Even parking spots have sold for more than a thousand dollars.

"It's completely out of control but supply and demand that's the name of the game," says Arlington resident Brian Baker.

Of course, that demand means it will be super crowded.

More than 120,000 fans are expected in and around the stadium.

Some will be looking with a watchful eye to make sure things stay super safe.

The NFL has added 3,000 private security officers to a stepped-up force of local and federal agents in the area.

As the teams prepare for their showdown on Sunday there is a lingering concern that without a collective bargaining agreement in place between the players and owners this could be the last game for a long time.

Players, fans and owners all seem to agree a lockout next season would not be so super.
