Corpse Flower blooming at US Botanic Garden
Corpse flower about to bloom in Washington.
One of the biggest flowers in the world is about to make a stink in Washington.
A Corpse Flower is expected to bloom this week at the United States Botanic Garden Conservatory.
Once it does, it will give off a stench that has been described as rotting meat and smelly gym bags.
The bloom will last one to two days before it wilts.
The Amorphophallus Titanum, also known as the stinky plant, has been at the garden since 2007.
But, this is the first time it has bloomed.
