Around 96,000 cribs sold in the U.S. are subject to a national recall.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling seven types of cribs made by Jardine Cribs. The CPSC says the wood slats on these cribs can break, creating improper gaps that may cause injuries to babies.
The Jardine cribs were sold at Toys-R-Us, Babies-R-Us, Kidsworld and Geoffrey stores from September 2005 through this month.
