Congressman Ruben Hinojosa has criticized the Supreme Court's decision on a Arizona immigration law provision requiring police to check someone's legal status in the country. Congressman Hinojosa is the first Vice Chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and stated, "Letting stand a provision that requires police to check someone's status because they suspect them of coming into the country illegally is preposterous. While I am pleased that some of this unconstitutional law was defeated, it still leaves the door open for bigotry and harassment."

has ruben read the AZ law?? or the supreme court ruling?? ruben supports amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens; the USA was founded on the rule of law and the US Constitution today we have neither obama has initiated amnesty for illegal aliens; illegal aliens cost the US taxpayers over 500 billion dollars a year; we must close our borders, stop illegal entry, deport all illegal aliens, stop illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer funded programs and stop illegals from voting
