Congressman Cuellar Votes Yes on Fiscal Crisis Bill

U.S.. Representative Henry Cuellar voted yes on the fiscal crisis bill which included permanent tax cuts for the middle class, extended tax credits for working families and a payroll tax increase on those who are working. Mr. Cuellar says the payroll tax increase will be seen in every worker's paycheck, "It expired, we did not extend it, so instead of holding at 4.2% it is going to go back to the original rate of 6.2%, which means that on the payroll check you will have about $80 dollars less a month than what you used to have before that." Mr. Cuellar says the new Congress will have three more big decisions coming up which include the debt ceiling, sequestration and the budget.
