Thousand of diehard fans descend on San Diego for Comic Con International.

Comic Con International opened its door Thursday night to thousands of die-hard fans.

The annual convention is not just about the characters in the comic books, it's also about Hollywood premieres and television sneak peeks.

You never know who you'll see or when.

David Glanzer with Comic Con says rumors Hollywood isn't part of this year's convention are false.

Expected names include Jeff Bridges, John Cusack, and Zach Levi from the show "Chuck".

"We should be so lucky that people want to take the time to tell you how great you were, or think you're so cool they want to take your picture or get an autograph," Levi says.

The world premiere of the movie "Cowboys and Aliens" with Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig will show Saturday night.

Tickets are being handed out through a downtown treasure hunt on Twitter.

As always, costumes are optional.

Comic Con International runs through Sunday at the San Diego Convention Center.
