Cocaine Package Found in Trash Barrel

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - A package of cocaine was found by a maintenance worker when he was collecting trash from trash barrels on the beach.

The Cameron county constable office says that on Wednesday morning a maintenance worker told constables that he thought he found a package of cocaine inside a trash barrel on Isla Blanca Park. Constables arrived and took the package and it tested positive for cocaine. It is estimated that the value of the cocaine is worth $15,000 dollars.
