Those potholes are also causing plenty of trouble for drivers in San Juan with the worst stretch of roadway being on Sioux Road between Raul Longoria and Cesar Chavez roads.

Recent rains resulted in even more potholes due to erosion and sitting water. The city is trying to fix the roads with the worst damage and is asking residents for their patience as San Juan City Manager J.J. Rodriguez stated, "Paving and reconstruction of roadways has been one that's at the top of the list. So at this point we're exploring funding options and the city is very much interested in investing in our roadway infrastructure to address all of these problems, but it will come in a bit, it will come with a bit of time."

Ideally the city would like to completely renovate that rough stretch of Sioux Road, but it's estimated to cost about $3 million dollars.
