ROMA — The City of Roma is working to improve it's citizen's homes by rebuilding them for free with state and federal grant money. The city was able to rebuild and remodel six homes in and on Wednesday a ceremony was held for one home that was finished by making it wheelchair friendly for an elderly couple. Roma Councilman Ruben Gonzalez stated, "We need more people to apply so that we can help elderly, the disabled, people that are economic disadvantage and they qualify."
