HARLINGEN - The City of Harlingen has rescinded the deannexation of two west side tracts last week.

Originally, the city commission voted to deannex the land on a three to two vote back in October. Last week, during the second and final reading, the city commission reversed that decision. City  council will now reannex nearly a thousand acres of land in west Harlingen.
