According to recent sales tax numbers business is booming in the City of Edinburg with sales tax revenue up at 26% since last year.

City officials say its because of an increase in businesses like construction and large scale projects in the area. The city has also created over a thousand jobs this year and even though this is all good economical news, officials say they're still keeping an eye on the national economy.
