Employees who work for the City of Donna have been forced to take a 10% pay cut for the remainder of the fiscal year.

The cuts affect all employees working for the city including public safety, bridge departments and even the city manager. Hourly employees are only allowed to work up to 36 hours a week and salaried employees have seen a 10% cut. The city is blaming the cuts on hard economic times and the new budge cuts came into effect on August 1st and will last through the end of September.
