City of McAllen Building New Sprayground Water Park
MCALLEN — City residents will soon have a new option to keep cool as construction continues for the city's second Sprayground is underway and expected to be completed in a few weeks. The new facility will cost $500,000 dollars and be located at South Ware and Jordan road. Several spray fountains and water activities will be free to use and Sally Gavlik the Parks and Rec Director states, "Because it has become such a popular place we expect this one to be the same thing. We are hoping that it may relieve a little bit of the pressure, but in reality, they both may see that much activity because they are both a little bit different."
