City of McAllen and police help kids in need.

With school about to begin in a few days, one city and law enforcement agency are helping children in need.

The City of McAllen and its police department partnered together for their annual campaign, "Relief for Kids" which gives away free school supplies for about 3,000 elementary school children in the area.

The giveaway is on Wednesday at the McAllen police department located on the 1600 block of Bicentennial Boulevard from 4pm to 6pm and for more information call 956.972.7408.
