If you have outstanding citations in Edinburg, the city is kicking off a 30 day amnesty program.

The program will allow people with outstanding fines to pay their original citations without being arrested. The city is waiving class C arrest warrants and dismissing failure to appear charges for those who pay their outstanding fines between February 15th and March 15th.

The court is owed more than $2.5 million dollars in unpaid tickets.
