ALTON — The city is giving back to the community, in the form of a summer camp, for the children that will learn karate, basic media skills, sign language and much more. This is the first year that the city is holding the summer camp that will run for seven weeks for a fee of $75 dollars each child. Organizers say keeping the price low is one way to give back to the community and over 240 children are enrolled in the camp. Camp leaders say they're trying to help as many children through the camp as possible.
