Mother was grocery shopping when Good Samaritan spotted children in vehicle. Kaitlyn Ross reports.

(WXIA) An Atlanta mother of four is under arrest after leaving her kids in the car to go grocery shopping.

Charnae Mosley, 28, is charged with four counts of reckless behavior.

"The most important thing is that the children are okay, they're with their grandmother," said Atlanta Police Department Public Information Officer Greg Lyon.

Crying, and still in their car seats, the children were driven away by their grandmother Monday night.

The Department of Family and Child Services spoke to their family and police before letting them go.

"It's the South, it's summertime, it's hot, it's humid. Whether it's animal, family pet, of course your child, don't leave them unattended in a vehicle," Lyon said.
