Many charities are concerned that changes in the tax laws could have an impact on their donations, but tax experts say the new laws won't effect charitable donations which organizations can receive. They do say the amount of charitable tax deductions from tax returns have decreased drastically since 2007 and believe it's due to tough economic times of losing their homes and not knowing that it's worth it to itemize anymore. Tax experts encourage those who make charitable donations to keep track of their itemized deductions especially before tax season.
