CBP seizes over $400,000 in cocaine at port of entry
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Custom and Border Protection officers seized over 13 pounds of cocaine at a Brownsville port of entry.
On Wednesday, June 12, officers came into contact with a male Mexican citizen,35, and his two minor children in a blue Ford Taurus at a primary inspection booth.
They were sent to a secondary inspection where officers discovered six concealed packages, of alleged cocaine, within the vehicle valued at approximately $441,600.
The man was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security Investigators and the children were handed over to their mother.
