CBP officers seize nearly $333,000 in cocaine at port of entry

Custom and Border Protection officers, working the Gateway Internatioanl port of entry, intercepted several bundles of cocaine hidden within a vehicle.

On Sunday, September 22nd, officers came into contact with a 2006 Pontiac Grand Am driven by a man residing in Brownsville.

A CBP officer referred the driver and the vehicle to a secondary inspection where officers found four packages hidden within the dashboard area.

The packages of alleged cocaine weighed over 11 pounds and had an estimated street value of $332,800 dollars.
