Camera rolls as drunk driver slams into police squad car during at scene of previous accident.

A dramatic crash was caught on camera as police in Lubbock, Texas investigated a previous accident Saturday evening.

It began when a man was struck by a car as he attempted to cross the street.

Lubbock police were called to the scene around 12:30 p.m.

They put their lights on and blocked the street.

Then, while accident investigators were surveying the scene, another vehicle, driven by 26-year-old Anthony Perez, crashed into the back of their patrol car.

Perez was arrested for driving while intoxicated. His 19-year-old passenger was released to his mother.
