Cardiologist Speaks on Heart Disease

BROWNSVILLE — Heart disease is the number one killer for men and women and on Wednesday Cardiologist Jamie Silva spoke to a several people at Sunrise Mall on ways to prevent the disease. Dr. Silva stated, "If a person is smoking, they should quit smoking, they should be physically more active to get to an ideal weight. Also, if the patient has hypertension, they should see a doctor to start therapy as soon as possible."
