There's one day left until the new Chick-Fil-A on Boca Chica Road in Brownsville has its grand opening, but it's not just any grand opening.

To show support for the ones who love them most, the company always offers free food for an entire year to the first 100 customers in line.

And that means dozens of people have already been camping outside for hours, waiting to claim their yearlong prize.

"Well we got here from 2:30 in the morning," said Chick-fil-A camper Ruben Rivas. "We come from San Antonio."

"Since 10," said Chick-fil-A camper Matthew Peña. "Since 10."

"Actually since last night about 10:30," said Chick-fil-A camper Rachel Delgado. "From San Antonio, Texas."

Even Juan Sierra, the man dubbed by the company's CEO as the Chick-Fil-A godfather, made an appearance.

"He has been to 85 openings," said Rivas. "We've gone to Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth. We go all over...all over Texas."

But the drive that motivates these campers comes down to one very simple thing:

"Awesome Chick-Fil-A food," said Peña.

"Their food is excellent," said Delgado. "Customer service is number one and I enjoy meeting new people."

"We do it for the coupons to get 52 meals, you know, by spending 24 hours here at Chick-Fil-A," said Rivas. "We share the tickets."

The opening of this store is expected to bring 80 jobs t o the area, and even more happy tummies.

"The food is delicious," said Rivas. "I mean, you can't beat Chick-Fil-A."
