Cameron County’s 911 emergency dispatch service has been restored after the system malfunctioned early Thursday morning. The system crashed at around 6:00 a.m. and wasn’t repaired until shortly after 10 a.m. There is no information on why the line experienced problems but law enforcement officials are working with their provider to resolve the issue.
