More residents may be voting in next month's primary election as the Cameron County Elections office reports that 173,000 people have registered to vote. That number shows an increase of 4,000 more registered voters than in last November's election. The election office will be sending the last of the voter registration cards within the next week and Elections Administrator Roger Ortiz stated, "What I suggest is they look at their cards and look at the precinct number. If they have any questions in regards to that because some of the precinct numbers have been realigned, some of the lines have been realigned some have new precincts. So they can call our office and we'll try to explain to them exactly where their at or what happened." For voter information around the county visit: www.co.cameron.tx.us/elections
