Cameron County officials monitoring tropical disturbance in Gulf of Mexico
CAMERON COUNTY, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Cameron County Division of Emergency Management is monitoring a tropical disturbance in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico.
The distrubance is expected to move northward to the middle / upper Texas coast by Sunday.
The National Weather Service is reporting that the tropical distrubance is expected to move northward at 5 to 10 mph over the next couple days to the upper Texas and southwestern Louisiana receiving locally heavy rain and strong winds.
