Recent wild fires and dry weather conditions along with high winds are causing Cameron county to extend it's burn ban for the fourth time.

For the next two weeks you should not burn leaves, grass, brush, or any other material and if you are caught burning materials outside, you may be charged with a misdemeanor and fined up to $500 dollars.
