BROWNSVILLE — Hackers have created a problem for the Cameron County Bar Associations e-mail system by sending out a scam e-mail from Executive Director Lupita Salazar's address. The e-mail has Salazar's signature and states, "My family and I visited Philippines. We got mugged all cash and credit cards was taken off of us. We are in a financial mess all we need is some loan to sort things out." The association is urging those individual who received the e-mail not to respond to the e-mail.
