Cameras Rolling On A Thief

HARLINGEN-Police are searching for a thief who broke into a bail bonds located just steps away from their department, they're hoping you can recognize the man in the surveillance video committing the act.
 

Cameras rolling as this man breaks into the Esquivel Bail Bonds located off Fair Park Boulevard early Saturday morning. Bail bond agents said he came from the alley way and made his way through a side door and stole several high priced items.
 

"A gentlemen broke into our office stole couple of electronics couple laptops and some camcorders and i think that's about it," said Rene Esquivel, a bondsman.
 

The bail bonds sits just feet away from the Harlingen Police Department, but that didn't even stop the brazen thief to continue his agenda.
 

"It's just an opportunity i guess and took advantage of it," said Esquivel.

The surveillance clip of the accused thief is short but cameras were able to capture different face angles of him. He's seen wearing a white cap and a white jacket and he has some facial hair, workers at the bail bonds say the man is a local and may live in the surrounding area. On Monday, workers were confident that they'll be able to identify who he is.
 

"We got his picture the investigation is ongoing and we have some leads and following up on them and should apprehended shortly," said Esquivel.
